2008 Conference

The Upjohn Institute organized the 8th international research conference on Comparative Analysis of Enterprise Data (CAED) in partnership with the Central European University. Major support for the conference came from the COST Programme of the European Science Foundation together with several other sponsors. Topics discussed at the conference included reallocation, productivity, ICT, innovation and R&D, competition, transition, development, labor, adjustment costs, environment, corporate governance, trade, and linked employer-employee analysis. The conference also inaugurated a new international network funded by COST-ESF. Based primarily in Europe, the network includes scholars working on enterprise data and representation of national statistical agencies supplying the data.
