Employee Enhancement Program - Application process closed

The Kalamazoo-St. Joseph Workforce Development Board announces the availability of funds to train workers currently employed by local, private companies in the manufacturing, health care, and service industries including advanced manufacturing, life sciences, technology, homeland security, and/or defense, and alternative energy. 

The Employee Enhancement Program is designed to support business growth by averting layoffs and creating career advancement opportunities for workers. The program can fund 100% of employee training costs up to $3,500 per employee and a maximum grant of $15,000.  The Kalamazoo-St. Joseph Michigan Works! is accepting applications beginning July 25, 2008 through the deadline,  Monday, August 25th, 2008, by 4 p.m.
